Another race for the three of us... Run for the Grapes, where I had my birthday PR last year. No birthday & no PR for me, but it still was a PR for the season. 22:56. Mike finished for a PR of 22:44. We both placed THIRD in our age group {some fast old ladies out there today!} Dodd was close to a PR & placed FIRST in his age group. Mike and I pretty much ran side by side for the first two miles. Then Mike took off & I couldn't keep up. For a guy who hates 5K's, he sure runs them well.
I think the reason I do so well is at this one is that I'm Purple Cow Powered {PCP ~ more powerful than the potato chip power I ran on last week ~ Mike and I bought 5 bags of potato chips for the Browns tailgate last Sunday...yeah, we did...and donuts}

In honor of our Mount Union legacy, we wore our Mount Union gear. I wish Mike didn't look so disgusted in this pic, because I would love to have a good picture of the two of us. I have NO IDEA what was going on that made him have this face...but it kinda makes me laugh.
