Bucket List

Certainly not a new idea ~ but I'm in my 40's and it's a thought...what do I want to get done here in this world.  To clarify ~ my bucket list is really two parts.  The first part is the realistic list; the things I actually have control of.  The second part is the fantasy; the things I certainly would love to happen but realize I'll have to be real lucky too.  {This does contradict my theory that we create our own reality.  Ever notice sometimes you wish for something to happen, and it does.}  Sometimes in dreams we can control what will happen...what if that holds true for life?

Part One:
  1. I want to buy shoes.  I want to go into a fancy store and try on shoes and buy them regardless of the price.  I want to wear a pair of $300+ shoes and love every minute of it.
  2. I want to sing karokee in front of a group of people who will hae a good time WITH me (and not throw things at me or talk about me behind my back.)
  3. I want to run a 5K under 22 minutes.
  4. I want to have an adventure.  Maybe we take off on our bikes and ride for weeks.  Maybe we go to Ireland and live there for a month.  Maybe we hike in the rainforest.  Somehow I want to do something without structure and on a whim.
  5. I want to own a little red convertable sports car.  (right now I'd get a Pontiac Solstice, but that may be different by the time it's a realistic purchase)
Part Two:
  1. I want to own an island ~ and live on it.  It will be an island five miles in circumfrence with a paved running path all the way around.  It will have a cove with a great swimming beach.  I'll have a great house with a sleeping porch on the second floor that has a view of the sunrise.  There will also be a lazy river running around the island so I can just float and nap and not worry about floating out to sea.
  2. I want to meet Bruce Springsteen.
