#14 ~ Strange Fits of Passion

#14 ~ Strange Fits of Passion by Anita Shreve has been on my 'to be read' list for a long time.  As always, Shreve tells a very compelling story.  A story of domestic violence before we talked about domestic violence and a story of telling a story.  How a story told is never the actual truth.  Interesting take on reporting.  People really don't ever know the truth.  Do the people involved actually understand the truth behind their own motives and decisions?

fl: On my book tours, I am often asked a number of questions: Did he really do it?  Do I think that she was justified?  Did they do it for the money or for love? ll: There was no hope, in the darkness, of remaking a neat bundle.
