But today's small world story is great:
I really contemplated just dropping the kid off. He can get through security & find his gate no problem...but on Frontier, it's cheaper to check your bags than carry on {which is not a bad thing...as I hate how long it takes to get on and off a plane with all the carry on luggage...but the fact that we have to pay to hold things on the plane...UGH} Anyway. I figure I need {ok, want} to go & help the kid check his bag. We're waiting in the crazy, very slow moving line...letting all the South Meyers, Florida people cut in line {why they are being rewarded because they were late to the airport is beyond me} & everyone is grumbling, which starts us talking with the people around us. I realize that the girl in front of us is the athletic trainer from South High School...who I sat by at JB's last tennis match...where we talked about summer plans and her upcoming trip to Denver. And Jacob is on the same flight. So crazy.
We finally make it to the counter & the lady says that Jacob can't take his tennis racquet in his back pack because it hangs out. {silly rule if you ask me, as it was fine the last time he flew Frontier} We try to put it in his suitcase, but it won't fit. Sarah, the trainer, says, "It'll fit in mine & you can get it in Denver." Seriously. She unzipped her suitcase, rearranged stuff & put in the racquet. She even gave JB her cell # in case they had trouble hooking up in Denver.
Gotta love life.
So JB is in Colorado & that's a great thing.
I came home & ran & took picture of my flowers:
And then I finished watching Breaking Bad. I think I'm a worse person for having watched the series & I'm glad it's over. I just wish I knew what happens to Jesse. I really think he drove straight into a tree.
